 Canoe Series at Anita C. Leight Estuary Center
Fall Fishin' Trip on Spetember 19 from 7:00-10:00am Let’s try our luck around the Estuary Center. Travel by canoe around the bay and into the backwaters in search of that perfect fishing hole. We will supply worms and can supply fishing rods if needed. Canoe Scavenger Hunt on September 25 from 9:00am-Noon Celebrate National Estuaries Day! Learn about the Chesapeake Bay while participating in our wetlands scavenger hunt! Kids and adults will enjoy this canoe program that keeps everyone on the lookout for fascinating flora and fauna in the estuary.
Ages: 8 - Adult. Children under 13 must be with an adult. Wear shoes that can get wet. All equipment supplied. Contribution: $10.00 per person.
Call the Estuary Center at 410-612-1688 to register. Space is limited so registration is required. Please call the Center if you need to cancel. Parents attend children’s programs only where specified. All programs meet at the Center unless otherwise noted. PAYMENT POLICY: Payment is due one week from the day you register. After one week, we reserve the option to cancel your registration if payment was not received.
